We provide direct care to individuals with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and other cognitive disabilities – and without urgent funding, these life-changing services will be at risk.

Meet Madison
Madison is a teenager with autism who has depended on therapies and services to overcome obstacles and help her thrive.
Her mother shares, “When she was younger, she struggled every time she got a haircut. She cried, she fought us and haircuts for her quickly became a nightmare.
We set a habilitation goal for my daughter, that she would be able to go to any salon and get a haircut. Her habilitation provider and I took my daughter to a kids salon every month to get a haircut. Slowly she became more comfortable, cooperative and confident while she got a haircut.
After she conquered her fear of getting a haircut at the kids salon, we started going to a regular salon, like Ulta. It was hard work and dedication and my daughter soon achieved this habilitation goal. It took a year for this to happen. It may seem like a simple problem to others but it was not for us. Without the help of habilitation services provided through DDD, my daughter would not have been able to succeed. These therapies and services are vital to individuals with special needs.”
